Installation was a snap, both worked without a glitch under Win XP. The first tests showed that the image quality was outstanding. Sharp, crystal clear, with a good autofocus function. Zoom also worked well, even at the highest magnification the image remained sharp and clear.I tested the cam with msn, yahoo and skype, all latest versions. Skype gave the best results, msn a good second, yahoo being slow but still acceptable quality. As most webcams, the C910 HD comes without a stand, so you have to fix it on your screen. On a flat screen this works well, on an older CRT monitor this was more difficult because the camera USB cable is not flexible enough so that the camera sometimes moves when you move the cable. I made myself a wooden stand so that I could put the cam exactly where I wanted it, which was a big improvement. The software gives you the possibility to not only zoom but... Read more 11 of 11 people found the following review helpful Glad I bought it!, This review is from: Logitech C910 HD Webcam (Electronics) I bought this as an 'upgrade' from my recently purchased Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 as since purchasing that webcam I bought a mac, which although it worked it wasn't great (ie. no auto focus, picture was a bit distorted in PhotoBooth etc).With the Logitech C910 Webcam it works so much better on a mac, with all the things that lacked on the Webcam Pro 9000 working fine with the C910. The C910 is now 'officially' mac compatible (and the only logitech webcam which is listed for use on BOTH Mac and Windows). Logitech's own software for the mac is able to be downloaded from their website, although this cam works fine with photobooth. Very pleased with this webcam, the autofocus is excellent, the picture is sharp and seems very good in lower light (I have yet to test it at night though). Well, when i first saw the C910, I liked the fact that is was considerably more compact than the Pro 9000. I travel quite a lot, and liked the idea of slightly smaller cam. I was disappointed there is no carrying case to protect the cam when in my computer bag with my ac adaptor, phone-charger and other accessories. However, one drawback I have discovered is that the smaller size and slightly differences in shape of the "foot" means that the C910 is a little "wobbly" when perched on top of the screen of my laptop, whereas the Pro-9000 was absolutely solid.
